Shopping to Help Narragansett High School

There are shoppers and then there are SHOPPERS. You know the type: they respond well to advertising, they consider themselves to be "fashionistas," and they don't mind when someone calls them "Imelda" after looking at their closet floor. No matter which category you fall into the Narragansett PTO has a great opportunity for you to do some holiday shopping and help the Narragansett High School at the same time.

Tomorrow is the second annual Mariner Marketplace - Holiday Shopping Event & Gourmet Food Extravaganza  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the high school, 245 South Pier Road. It will feature 60 vendors, a raffle for wonderful items donated by local businesses (including one of those Blueberry Cove Inn robes that you have been coveting), a drop off spot for the Marine's Toys for Tots program, and a community service event sponsored by the Narragansett Police Department for the prevention of drunk driving. They will also check the installation of any child safety seat in your car and offer fingerprinting service for child safety.

So come on down, do some shopping, walk on the beach, eat some seafood, spend the night (mention this blog and I'll give new bookings an additional $15 off of our already reasonable winter rate this weekend) and feel good shopping for a cause.
